Description

This 4-point mooring self-elevating offshore wind turbine service and support unit was built in 2014 and is classed by CCS. The vessel has a GRT of 21,553 t and an NRT of 6,465 t. Its LOA measures 146.15 m with a beam of 40.00 m, a design draft of 5.5 m, and a structural draft of 7.5 m. The vessel’s empty weight is approximately 14,000 T. It features a deck load capacity of 15 t/m² over an effective deck area of 3,100 m².

Powered by six Wartsila 9L20 main generator sets, each rated at 1,700 kW, the vessel delivers a total output of 10,200 kW for propulsion and onboard systems. Fuel capacity consists of 1,950 m³ for main fuel and 380 m³ for diesel. Freshwater capacity is 2,220 m³, while ballast water capacity reaches 44,100 m³, supporting operational stability. The vessel accommodates up to 240 POB with a bed capacity of 222, and is equipped with a helicopter platform capable of handling a D21 m, 12 t S92.
Designed for long endurance, the unit maintains self-holding power for up to 30 days, with a fuel consumption rate of 1.96 t/h across five generator sets. The expected service life is 25 years. It operates in non-restricted navigation areas, capable of withstanding operating wind speeds up to 13.8 m/s and survival wind speeds up to 36 m/s, with wave heights of 2.5 m and 8 m respectively.

Marine equipment includes emergency and main generators, compressors, ballast pumps, boilers, and seawater and freshwater cooling systems tailored to maintain onboard operations and stability. The vessel’s outfitting features two high holding power anchors of 7,425 kg, eight Delta anchors weighing 12,000 kg each, and positioning windlasses rated at 1,300 kN.
The crane arrangement includes a main 800 t slewing crane with double and single hook capacities of 800 t and 500 t respectively, capable of lifting to heights of 103 m above deck and 13 m below deck. An auxiliary crane rated at 60 t complements lifting operations, with additional manriding functionality.
